Highlights
Embark on this remarkable private journey and tick off your ancient must-do list as you are about to discover one of the smallest capital cities in the world: Vientiane. Located on the bank of the mighty Mekong River, Vientiane has a recorded history that stretches back to around 1,000 AD. The city is filled with classic monuments and buildings which all have different stories to be told. Moving North, the ancient city of Luang Prabang is a delightful mix of exquisite temples, French colonial buildings and beautiful landscapes. This journey is an ideal option for a family or a small group of friends to experience the highlights of Laos. A perfect add-on to any of our Vietnam tours. It is also possible to do this itinerary in reverse, travelling from Luang Prabang to Vientiane.
